FORGING A CUTLERY SET - May 17th 2025
KNIFE, FORK, SPOON & DINNER
Forge your own cutlery set followed by a delicious dinner cooked over fire.
WHAT TO EXPECT - The day will be spent learning the basic blacksmithing skills involved in forging your own set of cutlery as well as delving into the history of tableware and how it has evolved over the centuries.
You will forge a simple table knife, a fork and a dessert spoon in kitchen grade stainless steel - ready to set the table at the end of the day and enjoy a feast. Partners and family are also invited to join us a three course dinner (adults only - tickets extra).
TIMES - Forging : 9am - 5pm : Dinner from 6pm
MEALS - A delicious lunch of local produce will be provided, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. Dinner in the evening is also included.
CAMPING AND ACCOMMODATION - There is camping at COPPET HILL CAMPING (walking distance from the forge) or else plenty of local accommodation available.
